South Africa State Visit

Dear Nick and Andy,

On behalf of DCMS, I would like to express our thanks and appreciation for the part The Flag Consultancy played in ensuring that preparations for the South African State Visit were completed successfully.

I know there were particular challenges for this visit, such as reduced timescales to produce the Mall South African Flags, a last minute request for a new St Helena Flag and fitting the installation of flags required on Parliament Square, Horse Guards Road and The Mall around Remembrance Sunday and the Ajex Ceremony.

All of the flags flown for the State Visit, especially the South African and Union flags flying alongside each other on The Mall looked wonderful and were the perfect backdrop for the Ceremony itself.
